Vaginal Laser Therapy, using a non-hormonal alternative and non-surgical laser therapy treatment, results in new blood flow and healthy tissue for breast cancer (or other gynecologic cancer survivors) and women who do not want exposure to estrogen therapy. With a laser treatment, you’ll also notice increased elasticity and a return of moisture back to the vaginal canal.

Vaginal resurfacing therapy is ideal for women whose vaginal tissue was torn during childbirth, or those who experience thinning, drying or inflammation of the vaginal walls due to low estrogen production from menopause, surgery or other medical conditions, including cancer, where hormone replacement therapy is not an option.

For patients who have mild to moderate leakage or urinary incontinence, laser vaginal therapy is a low risk non-surgical option to treat this condition.

Each laser treatment lasts about three to five minutes. Patients typically have three treatments, which are spaced about four to six weeks apart. After treatment, most patients are able to resume normal activities that day, although we ask patients to abstain from intercourse for at least 48 hours following treatment. Results last from six to twelve months with one yearly follow up treatment depending on your condition.
