LED Photobiomodulation
LED photomodulation Therapy, uses UV-free red lights (LEDs) in the red and infrared range (662-855 nm) to heat the vaginal surface to 41 °C (38.6 °C-44.1 °C). The device also employs vibration at 80 to 110 Hz for up to ten minute treatment sessions.
The home device emits warm heat intended to heat the vaginal tissue and encourage blood flow, which aids in natural lubrication to help soothe vaginal dryness. This warm heat also amplifies the results that come from the LEDs.
